Chick-in Waffle’s Westport location is the original — the Kansas City restaurant that proved hand-breaded chicken on fresh waffles could become a neighborhood institution. We’ve been serving the Westport district at 431 Westport
Road since day one, and the late-night crowd has made us one of the most talked-about spots on the strip.

Our chicken is hand-breaded in-house. Every order. Every time. The tenders are seasoned, dipped in our breading, and fried to order — which means you get them crispy and hot, not sitting under a heat lamp.

Late nights Friday and Saturday we’re open until 3 AM. Thursday we’re open until midnight. The kitchen doesn’t slow down at 2 AM — you get the same freshly cooked food at 2:30 AM as you do at noon.

We’re on Westport Road near the heart of the Westport entertainment district. Street parking is available on and around Westport Road. The location is walkable from most of the bars and venues in the neighborhood.
